Welcome to the WhisperWall FAQ. Below, we have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions and usage guidelines.

Features & Usage
Q1. What is WisperWall?
WisperWall is an anonymous sticky note sharing platform where users can freely post secrets, thoughts, or feelings. The platform does not require login, ensuring complete anonymity, allowing you to express yourself without revealing your identity.
Q2. How do I post a sticky note?
1. Click the "Post" button on the homepage.
2. Enter your content in the editor (maximum of 2000 characters).
3. Click "Submit" to publish your sticky note.

Once posted, it will be displayed randomly on the platform, visible to other users for browsing and liking.
Q3. How do I favorite a sticky note?
Click the "Favorite" icon on the sticky note to add it to your favorites.

Favorites are stored locally in your browser cache.

If you clear the cache, your favorites will be lost and cannot be recovered.
Q4. Can I delete a sticky note I've posted?
Currently, WisperWall does not support self-deletion of posted sticky notes.

If you wish to delete a sticky note, please email [email protected] with the note link.

The platform will verify and process the request.
Q5. Why can't I post continuously?
To prevent spamming and malicious activities, the platform imposes posting limits:

- A maximum of 1 sticky note can be posted per minute.
- Each sticky note can only be liked once.

If you reach the limit, please wait and try again later.
Data Security
Q1. Does WisperWall record my IP address?
WisperWall does not record users' IP addresses or any personally identifiable information.

The platform only logs anonymous access data (e.g., timestamps, device types) for performance optimization and to prevent malicious attacks.
Q2. How long will my sticky notes be stored?
Your posted sticky notes are stored on the platform's server and will not be lost if you clear your cache.

However, your favorites are stored locally in your cache. Clearing the cache or switching devices will result in the loss of favorites.
Q3. Will my data be shared with third parties?
No. WisperWall does not sell, rent, or share user data with any third parties.

The platform will only disclose access logs (such as IP addresses) when required by law or legal enforcement orders.
Q4. Will clearing my cache delete my sticky notes?
No, sticky notes you've posted are stored on the server and will not be affected by clearing your cache.

However, your favorites are stored locally. Clearing your cache will permanently delete your favorites and they cannot be recovered.

Tip: If you want to keep important sticky notes, consider saving the content or taking a screenshot.
Q5. Does WisperWall use cookies?
